Christmas

Santa and Mrs. Claus make a grand entrance at the end of the parade in Hayesville. Day and time changes every year, so visit  (give website city) for detailed information. The Hayesville parade "The Music and Magic of Christmas" features floats, popular children's characters and an evening of fun. You can enjoy live music. The Peacock Performing Arts Center (peacockplayhouse.org) offers many plays and musicals.

The Grinch strolls through the streets of downtown Hayesville handing out candy and visiting children at the parade.

Santa  also visits Murphy if you miss the Hayesville event. The celebration begins with the tree lightening ceremony and continues with music and entertainment.  The Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center offers a breakfast with Santa.

The Santa Express: Featuring “Twas the Night Before Christmas”. 
Check the TRAIN SCHEDULE for various dates and times. 

Daytime fun-filled trip with Santa while listening to “Twas the Night Before Christmas” Christmas story, sing Christmas Carols, visiting with Christmas characters and Santa. Each child receives a traditional  memento,  Christmas Activity Book and a candy cane.

Saturday, December 31st. Departs at 10:00 PM and returns at 12:30 AM - Tickets $85 Adult, $150 Couples Plus Tax

Join us to ring in the New Year.   While on board, you will receive party favors, adult beverages and an appetizer tray. Entertainment by Scotty Paulk and Noah Sampson. At midnight, you will be served a special sparkling wine to toast in the New Year!  Make your reservations early.
